George Bowman, Zen Master Bomun, has practiced Zen since 1968. His primary teachers are Zen Master Seung Sahn and Joshu Sasaki Roshi. He has also practiced with Shunryu Suzuki Roshi, Taizan Maezumi Roshi, Eido Roshi, Aitken Roshi and Kobun Chino Roshi. |

| He has studied and taught in China, Korea, Japan, Europe, Canada, and the United States. He travels regularly in the United States leading retreats as the guiding teacher of The Single Flower Sangha. | |||||||||
| Currently, he resides at the Furnace Mountain Zen Center in Kentucky. He travels monthly to the Boston area where he leads sesshin for the Single Flower Sangha. | |||||||||
